ECS Group has named João Ferreira as its new Regional Commercial Director for the Americas, reinforcing its growth strategy in one of the world’s most dynamic air cargo markets.
Entering his 30th year in the GSSA sector, Ferreira will oversee commercial activities across North and Latin America, focusing on achieving airline partners’ goals and enhancing customer experience.
His priorities include strengthening regional leadership, increasing direct engagement with airlines and forwarders, and leveraging ECS Group’s digital tools to drive data-led decisions.
Ferreira aims to align the mature U.S. market with the growth potential of Latin America to create a unified, results-driven commercial network.
CEO Jean Ceccaldi said the appointment underscores ECS Group’s commitment to global leadership, commercial excellence, and sustainable growth through experienced management.

ECS Group has appointed João Ferreira as its new Regional Commercial Director for the Americas, a key step in the Group’s growth strategy across one of the most dynamic air cargo markets worldwide.

A respected industry leader entering his 30th year in the GSSA sector, João Ferreira brings extensive experience and vision to this strategic role. He will lead ECS Group’s commercial efforts across North and Latin America, ensuring airline partners meet their goals while enhancing the customer experience throughout the region.
