Airports Council International (ACI) World today revealed the 2025 rankings of the world’s busiest airports, highlighting the industry’s leading hubs across total passengers, international passengers, air cargo, and aircraft movements. These airports play a critical role in the global air transport system, anchoring connectivity and enabling the efficient movement of people and goods worldwide.
The rankings highlight Hong Kong’s continued dominance as the world’s leading air cargo hub, followed by Shanghai Pudong and Anchorage, which benefits from its strategic position on transpacific routes.
Several hubs, including Louisville and Miami, recorded strong double-digit growth, reflecting express and e-commerce demand, while Memphis saw a notable decline, indicating shifts in integrator volumes.
