  • Since its 2019 founding, TCE (Total Cargo Expertise) has expanded its airline, GSA, and logistics client base, operating as a full-service cargo partner through its TCM (Total Cargo Management) service, delivering end-to-end support across sales, operations, revenue optimisation, and market strategy.
  • TCE manages over 225 cargo aircraft annually, processes 105,000 AWBs across 27 countries, and supervises 160,000 tonnes of cargo through 230+ audited handling agents; operations cover general cargo, e-commerce, perishables, pharmaceuticals, and live animals, with strongest corridors linking Thailand, Europe, North America, Mexico, and South Africa.
  • Growth is underpinned by digital integration (SkyPallet, CargoAi), local 24/7 operational teams, KPI-driven service, and strategic partnerships, enabling efficient load planning, payload optimisation, time-critical shipment support, and scalable global consistency, with a forward-looking focus on e-commerce and integrated cargo management toward 2031.

Since its founding in 2019, Frankfurt-based TCE (Total Cargo Expertise) has been growing its customer portfolio of airlines, GSAs and air cargo logistics providers. According to Sarah Scheibe, Managing Director of TCE, this momentum has not ceased. She says: “We are actively expanding, targeting a mix of full-service carriers, holiday airlines and niche airlines seeking comprehensive cargo representation and operational support.”.

TCE operates as a cargo operations and commercial solutions partner rather than a traditional GSSA. Through its TCM (Total Cargo Management) service, it provides end-to-end A–Z support across sales, operations, revenue optimisation and market strategy, effectively acting as an outsourced cargo department for airlines or alternatively, filling gaps in the airline’s cargo operations by delivering our dedicated and tailor made solutions.

On average, the TCE team completes over 80 supplier and process audits and supervises around 225 cargo aircraft on site every year. More than 105,000 AWBs are processed annually for customs in 27 countries across five continents. The team also declares over 4,000 flights per year, supervising circa 86,000 AWBs and an annual average of 160,000 tonnes of cargo being moved through its 230+ contracted and audited handling agents at more than 230 airports around the globe. In those six years, TCE-supervised shipments have reached 380 different destinations. Over the past three years, the team has branched out from general cargo to also ensure the safe and stress-free transport for over 6,200 animals, more than 850 tonnes of pharmaceuticals and 82,000 tonnes of flowers and other perishables.

Strong corridors

TCE’s strongest corridors are between Thailand, Europe, the US and Canada, as well as Mexico and South Africa. These are supported by stable demand in general cargo, e-commerce and time-sensitive shipments

This is why the organisation is even more focussed on its processes to reduce risks to air cargo operations. In addition, it strengthened digital transformation and co-ordination with airlines and their handling partners.

Scheibe says: “We use numerous of cargo technology platforms to improve our operations like the cargo build up optimization tool “Skypallet” from Wiremind. But also e-booking platforms like cargoAI are a big advantage in the digitalizing cargo market.

“Through dedicated local teams, 24/7 operational coordination, proactive communication, and close alignment with airline and handling partners to ensure fast issue resolution and consistent service levels.

“We focus on KPIs to ensure efficient and safe operations. On-time handling, especially for sensitive products like time and temperature sensitive cargo are key for us and increases the customer satisfaction.”.

Growth, clients & network expansion

TCE’s focus on strong engagement with airlines, strategic partnerships and positioning TCE positions it as a full-service cargo solutions provider rather than just a GSSA believes Scheibe

“TCE balances local expertise with global consistency in service delivery as it grows by combining experienced local teams with standardised global processes, reporting structures, and aligned service KPIs across all stations.

“We are actively supporting digital booking integration and data analytics to improve visibility, efficiency, and decision-making.

“By focusing on shorter latest acceptance times, optimised operations coordination, flexible capacity solutions and close operational alignment with handlers to support time-critical shipments.

“We support partners through efficient load planning, payload optimisation, and promoting digital documentation to reduce operational inefficiencies and environmental impact.”

She looks ahead toward to 2031 predicting greater digitalisation, e-commerce growth and demand for integrated cargo management will redefine the sector. In her opinion, TCE is positioning itself as a strategic partner and cargo operations specialist to capitalise on this shift.
