The UK Warehousing Association (UKWA) has announced that Mike Reader MP will be attending the Association’s flagship event, The UKWA Awards for Excellence Lunch 2025.
Mike has been Member of Parliament for Northampton South, at the heart of the ‘Golden Triangle’ since 2024. His constituency includes the 750-acre Brackmills Industrial Estate, a key logistics centre where several UKWA members are located.
He is on the Energy Security and Net Zero Committees, and chairs the Infrastructure All Party Parliamentary Group.
Clare Bottle, UKWA CEO commented: “Mike’s background in construction and his role as Business Champion for Construction makes him an ideal conduit between the industry and government – we know from his positive comments that Mike is aware of the importance of warehousing and logistics; we look forward to welcoming him to our event and look forward to hearing his address.”
The UKWA Awards for Excellence Lunch recognises and showcases the top performers in warehousing and will be held at Royal Lancaster London on Wednesday 9 July.
