HAE Group announced the appointment of Conan Busby as Commercial Director UK GSSA, effective 01 March 2026.
Conan currently serves as Cargo Sales Manager – South UK at HAE Group, a role he has held since January 2023. During this time, he has been responsible for cargo sales across a diverse airline portfolio including DHL, Oman Air, Egyptair and TAAG Angola Airlines, consistently delivering profitable growth through targeted business development, high-quality key account management and strategic customer engagement. His work has strengthened HAE Group’s value proposition within the UK market and driven sustainable airline performance.
With over 20 years’ experience in the air cargo industry, Conan brings deep commercial, operational and strategic expertise to the Commercial Director UK GSSA role. His career spans senior positions across operations, planning and commercial leadership, underpinned by a strong understanding of the UK air freight landscape from express and freighter operations to belly-hold capacity.
Prior to joining HAE Group, Conan held the role of Cargo & General Aviation Business Development Manager at Edinburgh Airport, where he was recruited to develop and deliver the airport’s cargo strategy, including the Global Air Park development. Before this, he spent over 13 years with Manchester Airports Group, most recently as Head of Cargo & General Aviation. During this period, he played a key role in securing new UK freighter services to MAG airports, working with leading global cargo airlines and integrators.
HAE Group is confident that Conan’s experience, energy and deep understanding of the UK cargo market will ensure a smooth transition and continued success for the UK GSSA business.
