ACIA Aero Leasing closes transaction with EWA Air for two ATR72-600s

  • ACIA Aero Leasing has completed a sale and leaseback transaction for two ATR 72-600 passenger aircraft with EWA Air, strengthening regional connectivity in the Indian Ocean.
  • The aircraft will support EWA Air’s network linking Mayotte with key destinations while enhancing connections with Air Austral’s long-haul operations.
  • The deal highlights continued investment in regional aviation and ATR turboprop fleets.

 

ACIA Aero Leasing (“ACIA”) announced today the closing of a sale and leaseback of two ATR 72-600 passenger aircraft operating with EWA Air.

EWA’s operations provide essential regional connectivity linking remote regions with key cities in the Indian Ocean as they promote business, tourism and cultural ties. They also play a key and important role in providing seamless connectivity for Air Austral’s long haul network.” stated Mick Mooney, ACIA’s Chief Executive Officer.
